The new motorcycles bring the classic Bonneville design language to Triumph's locally manufactured mid-capacity range. Online bookings for the new models will open on 7 October 2026 at 4:30 PM. Deliveries of the T40 are scheduled to begin from the second week of November 2026, while customers opting for the T4 will have to wait until the second week of January 2027.
The Bonneville T40 family retains several styling elements associated with Triumph's iconic motorcycles. The bikes feature a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, round LED headlamp, wire-spoke wheels, twin rear shock absorbers and long mudguards.
Triumph has also added details such as hand-painted coach lining, brushed-finish peashooter-style exhausts and aluminium engine covers to reinforce the retro character while maintaining a modern finish.
Powering the T40 range is a 350cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder TR Series engine. The engine produces around 29 bhp and 31 Nm of torque and is paired with a six-speed gearbox featuring a slip-and-assist clutch.
The motorcycle uses a tubular-steel frame with a twin-sided swingarm. Suspension duties are handled by 43mm front forks and twin rear shocks, while the wheels measure 18 inches at the front and 17 inches at the rear.
The T40 and T40 Black receive a more comprehensive technology package than the entry-level T4. Equipment includes a 4-inch circular TFT instrument display, smartphone connectivity, navigation, music and phone controls, USB-C connectivity and multiple riding modes.
The higher-spec T40 models also feature cruise control, lean-sensitive ABS and traction control. The T4 receives a simpler colour LCD display and a less extensive electronics package, helping Triumph offer the motorcycle at a lower price.
The standard Bonneville T40 will be offered in three colour combinations, including Aegean Blue with Fusion White, Meriden Blue with Tangerine Orange and New England White with Jet Black accents.
The T40 Black takes a darker approach with Matt Pewter Grey and Matt Phantom Black, along with blacked-out components and gloss-black aluminium wheels.
The entry-level Bonneville T4 will be available in Phantom Black, Carnival Red and Competition Green.
