The board has published answer keys covering all four sets of the question papers, enabling candidates to compare their recorded responses with the officially suggested answers and estimate their probable scores.
Candidates who believe that any answer in the provisional key is incorrect can submit an objection through the designated online portal. To challenge an answer, applicants need to log in using their UTET registration ID and password and provide appropriate supporting documents or evidence for their claim.
The objection facility will remain open until 11:59 PM on October 15, 2026. UBSE has stated that objections submitted after the deadline or through any other method will not be considered.
The UTET 2026 examination was conducted on September 29, 2026, for candidates seeking eligibility to teach students from Classes 1 to 8.
The examination was divided into two papers:
UTET Paper I – Elementary-level teaching eligibility
UTET Paper II – Upper-primary-level teaching eligibility
Candidates should carefully verify their responses using the provisional answer key and submit an objection if they identify a genuine discrepancy.
Candidates can follow these steps:
Visit the official UBSE website.
Open the UTET 2026 section.
Select the provisional answer key for Paper I or Paper II.
Download the relevant question-paper set.
Compare the answers with the responses marked during the examination.
If necessary, submit an objection through the designated UTET portal before the deadline.
The official UBSE website currently lists separate provisional answer keys for UTET I 2026 and UTET II 2026, along with the official notification regarding the answer-key objection process.
Candidates are advised to complete the objection process well before the deadline and retain a copy of their submission and supporting documents for future reference.
