National Voice Media Forum Celebrates “Silent Hero Journalist Anniversary” and State-Level Award Ceremony with Grandeur in Shegaon

Shegaon (Buldhana District), January 31, 2026:
The National Voice Media Forum organized the Silent Hero Journalist Anniversary and a State-Level Award Ceremony with great enthusiasm in Shegaon, Buldhana district. The event honored individuals from various fields who have made remarkable contributions to society by presenting them with prestigious awards.

The program was presided over by Mr. Uttam Wankhade, National President of the organization, while Mr. Prakash Sardar, National General Secretary, was present as the Welcome President.

Distinguished guests included renowned film actor Bharat Ganeshpure, Sachin Moon, Director of Lord Buddha TV, senior editor Bhupendra Ganvir, columnist Dadabhau Abhang, eminent advocate Rajesh Jhalte, National Organizer Dinesh Ikhare, State Organizer Padma Mohad, State Member Vinod Sonwane, Kiran Upadhye, and several other eminent personalities.

The program commenced with the ceremonial worship of portraits of great social reformers. Following this, National General Secretary Prakash Sardar presented the introductory address.

While guiding journalists, senior editor Bhupendra Ganvir emphasized that journalists must dedicate their lives to keeping alive the ideology-based journalism inspired by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. He expressed concern that certain ruling governments attempt to tarnish the dignity of journalism by encouraging servitude, warning that such practices could lead to serious consequences for the nation. He urged journalists to carry out their responsibilities with honesty and integrity.

Film actor Bharat Ganeshpure then entertained the audience with a speech delivered in his unique and humorous style. Cultural performances included patriotic and social awareness songs presented by Sandeep Badge and Rajni Bharsake.

Subsequently, state-level awards were presented to distinguished individuals for their outstanding contributions in various fields. On behalf of the National Voice Media Forum, the following awardees were honored:

  • MLA Rajkumar Badole (Former Minister of Social Justice) – Vishwaratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Social Justice Award

  • Sanadbhai Patel – Outstanding Industrialist Ratna Award

  • MLA Dr. Sanjay Kude (Former Labour Minister) – Outstanding Development Ratna Award

  • Anil Manohar Umbarkar – Excellence in Journalism Award

  • Bhupendra Ganvir – Vishwaratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Excellence in Journalism Award

  • Mohit Devanand Damodar – Vishwaratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Yuva Samajbhushan Award 2025

  • Mahesh Bansode – Excellence in Social Awareness Film Production Award

  • Sandeep Pralhad Badge – Outstanding Social Awareness Singer Award

  • Sachin Moon – Bahujan Samaj Janjagruti Ratna Award

  • Atishbhai Dwarka Kharate – Samajbhushan Award

  • Tushar Waghulde – Best Anchoring Award

Through the National Voice Media Forum, individuals making significant contributions across various sectors of society are recognized and encouraged through these awards.

The event was meticulously organized by the Maharashtra State and District-level office bearers of the organization. The program was anchored by Tushar Waghulde, while the vote of thanks was delivered by National General Secretary Prakash Sardar.
